REPs Ireland 'Fit for 2014'

Monday 23 December 2013

REPs Ireland has never been in better shape after 2013.

A new website launched, online registration, recognition by EHFA as the competent authority in Ireland, a key member of ICREPs, and more exercise professionals joining every day.

Add to this that in 2014 the addition of new categories on the professional register, a review of standards and the first ever REPs Ireland Conference, REPs Ireland will be even stronger by 2015.

For those that are new to REPs Ireland, it is a non profit organisation owned by Ireland Active (the industry association) on behalf of the entire exercise industry. REPs Ireland operates its own independent finances with all funds received used to operate and promote the register.

REPs Ireland is here to promote and facilitate the growth of professionalism amongst exercise professionals. At a time where the public have lost faith in many areas as a result of recent unprofessional conduct, it is even more important that the public have a professional register that they can trust as being robust to ensure that any registered exercise professional they may work with is appropriately qualified, competent and insured.

By being a registered exercise professional, you are demonstrating that you are committed to ensuring that you have the knowledge, competency and skills to deliver appropriate services to the public.

We would invite you to be as active as you can be in promoting yourself as a registered exercise professional.

Using the REPs Ireland exercise professional logo's on your clothing or advertising material, including online social media will set yourself apart from others working in the industry.
