This draft proposal is now open for public consultation, and would appreciate if you would take some time to review and provide feedback.

Please support the development of this framework and the consultation by circulating this news item to your own network and contacts, and even share on social media (Appropriate share links can be found on the REPs Ireland Facebook (www.facebook.com/REPsIreland), Twitter (https://twitter.com/REPsIreland) and Linked In accounts.

The more quality feedback we can receive during this public consultation, the more likely we are to develop a framework that is effective, viable and sustainable.

The draft NERF has been developed as a result of an intense and wide ranging consultation and review of existing frameworks and program's internationally.

The NERF offers a huge opportunity for exercise professionals, employers/facilities, and education & training providers to be a key participant & partner in the delivery of future public health interventions.

The development and regulation of standards for exercise professionals will be crucial to the implementation of the NERF, and is something that REPs Ireland is committed to developing in early 2015.

All comments and feedback should be communicated directly to the NERF working group: contact details below:

Please
(i) review Draft 2 NERF and return your feedback to nerf@dcu.ie using the attached feedback form and
(ii) Distribute the call for consultation as widely as possible through your networks.

Consultation closes on Monday the 11th of November 2014.
