Ireland Active Conference Galway Friday 14th November

REPs Ireland will be hosting two consultation sessions at the Ireland Active Conference in Galway on Friday 14th November.

In the afternoon there are several workshops and also master classes of emerging group exercise training protocols.

For Education & Training providers that wish to just attend these two consultations, then there is no charge, but you must email infor@repsireland.ie to register that you will be attending. Please send your name (names if more than 1) and the provider you are representing.

If you wish to stay for lunch and attend the master class exercise sessions in the afternoon (or any of the other workshops/events), the standard day delegate charge of €65 per person will apply. This must be booked online here.

If you wish to attend the full day including the white flag awards that evening, the full delegate fee is €140 if you are a REPs Ireland approved provider/Ireland Active member. If you are neither then the non memebr fee is €155 per person. This must be booked online here.

The first Consultation is an Employer Consultation on Exercise Professional standards.

This will take place 11.00am - 12.00pm

Discussion points will address the feedback from the survey below. All responses will be collated and presented and will form the basis for discussion.

It is hoped this consultation will form the basis for work the REPs Ireland will complete over the coming months, in reviewing current standards for exercise professionals and ensuring that they meet employer expectations and needs.

The second consultation is with Education & Training providers on standards for exercise professionals.

This will take place 12.00pm - 1.00pm
